In a semi-automated system data acquisition, measurements, tests sequence and reporting are automated only the lead setup between tests is manual. While in fully automated, only one time lead connection is made to the transformer and the system automatically switches lead setup between tests.

A high precision measurement system is implemented in transformer testing systems. This enables accurate reading of voltage, current and power. The metered values are displayed on the software interface through controllers. Since our systems are customized to client’s needs and requirements, the measurement system design may differ respectively. Generally, the following metering specs are featured.
Single Phase Power Meter
5 digit display, accuracy : ±(0.1 % reading + 0.1 % range) for voltage, current and power at unity power factor
Three Phase Power Meter
5 digit display, accuracy : ±(0.1 % reading + 0.05 % range) for voltage, current and power at unity power factor
Data Acquisition System
61/2 digit, accuracy: ±(0.05%reading + 0.02% range) Voltage

Resistance and Ratio Test System
Fully / Semi- automated, customizable system that can be a standalone or integrated within the single and three phase transformer test systems. The system can test the winding resistance, turns ratio and phase displacement. Testing capabilities:
Resistance: 50 µΩ– 50 Ω / Ratio: 1-999
Heat Run Transformer Test System
Fully / Semi- automated, customizable system that can be a standalone or integrated within the three phase transformer test systems rating up to 7500 KVA. The system measures the temperature rise of the transformer under rated Load utilizing heating and cooling cycles.
Hipot Transformer test System
Semi- automated, customizable system that can be a standalone or integrated within the three phase transformer test systems rating up to 150 KV, 40KVA. The system measures the dielectric strength in transformer at high volt / low volt.
